Experienced Buyer – Direct Hire Opportunity

Referral Staffing Solutions is hiring a Buyer for our client—a global leader in advanced manufacturing—in Necedah, WI. This direct hire position is perfect for a detail-oriented Buyer ready to make an impact in a high-performing environment.

Position Details

• Job Title: Buyer
• Location: Necedah, WI (on-site only)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
• Salary: $65,000 – $93,000/year (based on experience)
• Travel: Limited travel for training at other U.S. facilities

What You’ll Do as a Buyer

• Manage purchasing for materials, supplies, and services
• Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers
• Release and track purchase orders to ensure material flow
• Monitor and improve supplier data to support production planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation
• Troubleshoot material or system issues quickly
• Analyze procurement data and trends
• Forecast material needs based on demand
• Drive supply chain efficiency through process improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience as a Buyer or in purchasing/procurement
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Understanding of MRP, inventory control, and vendor management
